Candidates for this course are seeking to prove introductory knowledge of how to design, create, and query relational databases, such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle. Candidates will learn database design and object management, data retrieval and manipulation, and related troubleshooting. Candidates should be able to write ANSI SQL statements and troubleshoot syntax errors and runtime errors. To be successful on the test, the candidate is also expected to have the following prerequisite knowledge and skills: • 8th grade reading skills • Some familiarity with data organization concepts • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Digital literacy skills, including the ability to research, create content, and solve problems using technology
